As soon as Ellie was done with her physical therapy, Jerry took her to the studio. It was a little difficult, packing a wheelchair and all, he never did that before, but Ellie could walk enough to stand and help herself on the seat while he took care of it. He also made sure to warn Sarah that he would be out with her to make some music. He never paused to think whether or not Sarah could be jealous of the relationship he had with Ellie. He didn't like the dark-haired girl in the same way and had eyes only for his babe.
At the studio, he had to get the wheelchair out and help her get in. He had fun pushing her around, maybe a little too much fun, but nothing bad happen, he didn't even accidentally run into anything. While requesting a recording studio, he inquired about Isabella, only to hear that she was not there. That was a bummer. He really wanted to show her Ellie. He knew she had an attitude but he thought she might like Ellie, if she didn't know her already. And she was efficient, which helped ignore the attitude.
Isabella might not be there, but they could get a studio. "Why don't you let me hear your new songs," he asked with a smile. Too bad he didn't have his work as well, to let her hear, but he was really eager to get a sample of the new stuff she made. That meant new songs for their band after all, or so he assumed.

Ellie was aware that having a wheelchair around would be a bit troublesome but she didn’t think that Jerry would mind. Besides, he didn’t seem to since he had helped her to his car and she sat into it while he took care of the chair. It was a necessity for her. While she could use the can and stand a little, it wasn’t completely it and she needed to rest her legs on occasions. Going to the studios would do her good though, she had missed performing songs and showing her material to her band mates. Sure, some of those might not fit the band’s style but it still helped her muse.
She laughed a bit when he pushed her in the studio and seemed to enjoy himself. He reminded her of Lindsey on a lot of aspects and she was used to these types of personality and besides, she had known Jerry for quite some time so she didn’t mind him going wild, as long as he wouldn’t make her want to throw up.
“Sure, though not all of them would fit the band.” She admitted to him with a small. She didn’t intend to start a solo career though. She just like writing songs in general. She got her USB drive and showed it to him so they could hit the studios. She wouldn’t mind singing it to him or playing a bit of music with him. It could be fun.

Jerry was aware that he did not always act his age. He was also aware that he didn't care about it. He had fun. Besides, Ellie might have to walk on a wheelchair or with a cane for a little while, might as well make it fun and interesting for her so she wouldn't be depressed about it. And not only was he trying to cheer her up, she would amuse him too with some music.
She said the music might not fit the band. She wouldn't be the first to write songs that would be sung by others. Still, he chuckled instead of seeing the logic in it, finding it too good not to tease her about it. "Are you ditching to write for your sister now?" If she wanted to make stuff she or someone else could use, he didn't mind. He was not even implying she intented to go solo, even if that was also a possibility. She had the drive on her so he picked it up and sat in front of the console.
He was not an expert but he figured he would know hoe to insert some drive and play the songs. He brought Ellie's wheelchair closer to him so she could look at it too and give him the proper indications. "Any one I should listen to first?"

Ellie laughed at the idea of writing songs for Lindsey, even though she probably could do that. Their styles were so different that she could probably do this if she ever felt like writing something perky, though her sister had the talent to do it on her own. It was only a shame that people preferred to sell her body over her talent. She was lucky with her agent, and she wished she could do more to boost Lindsey’s self-confidence and tell her she shouldn’t worry about it.
She shook her head at Jerry’s comment. “I don’t think it would suit her, at all.” She said smiling at the idea of Lindsey trying to do her own style. Sure, she could probably throw it off if she could but she knew that she had a different voice range than Lindsey’s and was often praised for it. She just hoped that she wasn’t shadowing Lindsey to the point she felt the need to have a career oriented more on her sex appeal.
“This one.” She said to him with a smile as she pointed the file. The song had much more of a rock vibe than what their band did, since it was more pop rock but she enjoyed that style, it had been a good way for her to vent.

Wouldn't it be funny though, to have Lindsey Bates singing one of her sister's song? Sure, with the right arrangements, a song could go any kind of direction, even their two very different styles. Since she no doubt recorded nothing but demos, Jerry was certain that even the songs she claimed would not entirely fit their band could ultimately do. Hell, a bit of his energetic drummer skills and that would do the trick!
She showed him a song in particular. He played it. For a demo, she clearly worked on it. He nodded as he listened. "It's pretty good. I'm doing something a bit like that for my album. I want rock songs you can dance on, you know?" Was it that surprising that he wanted stuff you'd move on, he, the hyperactive one? Probably not. "It could be nice. Too bad they don't have a drum in here I can play along it." There were some other songs. He quickly had a look at them, mainly at the amount. "You sure you rested all this time?" he teased. She might stayed in bed while she let her body recover but she didn't let her brain take a break. Of course, some of that stuff could be older too but he had to say it.

Ellie smiled as Jerry talked of his demos. “That’s pretty funny though, that we have similar tastes, maybe we should change our style.” She said jokingly. It was true that what joined them as a group was their taste in music and she was happy that they had something similar in common. “You’ll have to show me yours too!” She added as she looked at him.
“It would! I’m sure you could’ve come out with a great beat to move along.” She couldn’t help but laughed a little as he commented on the songs she had worked on and how hard she did. It was true that she had been inspired and worked a lot. “I rested, but I could still sing and play the guitar without my legs.” Sure, she wouldn’t have been able to use a pedal much but it wasn’t what troubled her the most. She was mainly happy that she could get back on her feet and with her music!

Jerry laughed too over the fact they had similar taste. At the same time, didn't it explain why they worked so well together? Sure, each member could have different particular and personal tastes but they needed to like a specific style for the band to remain together. He couldn't see himself playing a sound he had no affinity with. "I want to make music you can dance on, move, you know?" In other word, that fit him."I also have slower, smoother stuff. I need to make you hear the song I wrote for Sarah." He nodded, letting a simple sound as she too said they needed to show their stuff to one another. Without his songs on him right now however, he would listen to hers only. Maybe he'd give her a live, acoustic version. Anyway, it was not fully over, as he worked on other songs too.
He looked around. There was no drumset but perhaps he could get a guitar? He was disturbed in his search by what she said. Ah, yes, she didn't exactly need her feet to write. And she could play the guitar. Drums would have been a whole other business, but he supposed it could still be done. "Well, you were inspired a lot. And I still think some of those songs can be played by us, we just need the right touch and I'm sure it could sound pretty nice. You want to try? I can't say I know your song, but I could try to follow along. Or I could go around a request a drum if they have any. We definitely need one." While Jerry could play the guitar well, he excelled most at the drums after all. And it would be easier for him to follow her with that instrument than the guitar, or so he felt.

Ellie smiled at Jerry, happy to know that he was excited to hear of her new material. She had worked a lot on her demos. Somehow, being stuck in a hospital and on a wheelchair has given her some muse to write songs that were of a slightly different style than her band’s. Jerry was more of the dancing genre while hers was more of the rock one. She just preferred that genre for various reasons and one of them was that she didn’t need to use her body to sell, people just had to hear her voice to be confident of her sells. She knew she was talented, but she had always been modest about it and nice to anyone who wanted to talk to him. “Yeah, that suits you.” She said, agreeing with what he said. She didn’t see her do her genre, not when he was an outspoken extrovert. She smiled when he talked about her song. “I really do, next time, you’ll have to show me.” She said to him, knowing that Sarah would like whatever song he would write for her just because he had written it for her.
She nodded at his suggestion. It could be nice to try out in the studio; they could easily book some time and she’d like to register a demo with drums or more guitars to it. She knew how to play the instrument, along with the piano but she knew that her best tool was her voice, along with some guitar skills on the way. “That could be fun, I’ve missed playing with you guys.” She said, down for the idea. “I’m sure we can find some time to record here.” She added with enthusiasm.

Dominic had spent quite some time in the studio, recording his newest song and was now done with it so he walked out of his room. He did a bit of stretching along the way and moved his head to do the same with it when he spotted Jeremy and the girl knew was the singer of his band. He decided that he’d say hello to them, not thinking that he could be a nuisance, as if! He grinned when he peeked his head into their recording booth. “Hey! I just thought I’d say hello, I haven’t seen you guys in a while.” He said. He had heard the story revolving around Eleanore Bates and wasn’t blind to the point of not noticing her wheelchair but he admired the fact that he was coming there and still doing her music as if nothing stopped her. He heard the song too and what Jerry said last about finding instruments. “I’ve got some in mine if you want to use the drums or the guitar…” he suggested.
He smiled at them, thinking that he could suggest having a duet with their band, or even with Eleanore; she had a good voice and he had talent. He was sure that they could match each other’s. Ideas were starting to run through his head and he started grabbing his phone as he thought he could actually text Zach about booking something for them but then he saw Ellie again and restrained himself for now. It might not be the time yet.

Jerry chuckled. A rock style that had enough rhythm to make you want to dance certainly fit him to a T. Sure, he liked quieter music too, to relax or just be taken by the beat, but he wouldn’t see himself on a stage, sitting on a stool with an acoustic guitar in hand to sing one ballad after another. He needed to move. It was why his parents introduced him to drums in the first place after all, because they wanted a way to have him burn this extra energy and learn to focus without the use of medication. It worked, even if his attention span was still low compared to a lot of people.
He knew Sarah would love his songs only because he wrote it, well, as long as it was no diss track but why would he write one while being with her? Everyone would know it was for her too, as they had been dating for a while now. Jerry never bothered wondering what people thought of his relationship, since they were not a part of it, but he could only think they were happy for him and would be too with the fact they would soon become parents.
Jerry grinned. He too missed working with her and surely so did the others. Too bad he didn’t have a drum here. It was then that a saviour appeared in the shape of a very loud and outspoken singer. Dominic had a similar personally to his, making the two men get along whenever they met. Which was not often, true. Jerry smiled again, at him this time. “Hey there, look who I’m bringing today,” he said, moving behind Ellie’s wheelchair and moving his face so it was closer to hers.
Jerry looked at his friend after Dom’s suggestion. “What do you think?” He didn’t want her to force herself, but the man was offering them some instruments for a jamming session and Jerry knew he couldn’t turn one of those. He would however if Ellie felt a little too tired for today. He didn’t want her to do too much, he wanted her back on stage with them not falling down just as she was getting back up.

Ellie smiled and did consider the perspective of practicing a little with Jerry. She was certain that they could come out with something but they had a problem; they lacked of instruments and they couldn’t just ask to anyone in the studio to ask them if they could use theirs for a minute or two…or more like an hour or two. She was a bit shy though when she heard the voice of another man. She was not outspoken to everyone like them, she tended to be quieter and started wondering about what he would think if he heard her heaviest demos. Oh lord…
She still managed to smile when Jerry introduced her to Dominic Smith. She knew who he was and he obviously ought to know about her name too. They were two big heads in the industry after all. “Hello.” She said softly before considering the offer. It was true that it was tempting; she wasn’t against practicing a little even if it wasn’t for hours, she could still use instruments. She had missed it. “That sounds like a good idea.” She said with a nod after a few moments. She thought she could deal with it.
Besides, a wheelchair wasn’t going to stop her from making music!

Dominic grinned at Jerry and then at Ellie when he introduced her to him. Not in an explicit way, of course, but he knew who she was and her story was known about everywhere so of course, he wouldn’t point out the fact that she was on a wheelchair but he was willing not to be all over her like he could with other people. “Hi Eleanore, I’m glad that you could make some time for the studio.” He said truthfully. After all, not being able to walk much must be quite a bummer but she seemed to be fine and he admired that.
He then clasped his hands together when they both agreed to have a jam session with his instruments. “I can go warn my musicians and they’re yours. I’m curious though, is it new material? You don’t have to tell me if it’s confidential. I’m just having an album on the side that has collabs with other artists and I was thinking we could come out with something together.” He said, deciding that he didn’t need Zach to push their agent, for now, he could do that part of the job on his own. He would only push Zach if he felt like their agent wasn’t cooperative.

Jerry always found it amazing just how wild Ellie could be on a stage yet how tamed she was everywhere else. She was poised, calm and polite. No doubt it had been a shock to some fans too, if they didn't know better when meeting with her. She was two people into one. Then again, Jerry heard something about introverts making it a lot in the entertainment industry because they used their creativity to speak up for themselves, or something like that. He supposed Ellie fit that description.
He didn't talk about Ellie's condition to Dom. True, she was in a wheelchair, and he might not have paid attention to what happened to her. He was certain the journalists will want her to talk about it enough, no need to add it here. He didn't even act as though it was a big deal for her to be here, wheelchair or no.
Jerry was not afraid about the demos Dom might hear. It was not like he could steal her songs or anything. He clapped in his hands loudly when Ellie agreed to Dom's offer. He was glad that she was up for it, he was all psyched up now. They could now play and it would be awesome! "That's perfect. Which room you're in Dom?" He laughed though as Dom also clapped in his hands before saying he would lend his musicians too. "No need for that, it's just a jamming session and we've got all the talent right here, right Ellie?" he asked her as he placed his hands on her shoulders. Not to add that he didn't even have the music sheets so it would really be nothing but an improvisation on her son.
He heard Dom talking of his album but doubted he was talking to him. Sure, he was working on his first solo album but he was a drummer who did back vocals, not the main voice. Since he figured he was talking to Ellie about that collab, he'd let her answer. If she wanted it to be the band and not just her collaborating with him, she could decide too.

Ellie knew that she often surprised people because of her appearance and personality. She wasn’t like that when she was performing, she felt confident with her art but when she wasn’t talking to a crowd, she tended to be more reserved. Her music was her way to express her emotions and Jerry was right about that part of her.
She listened to Dominic and nodded, agreeing with that suggestion. “That sounds like a plan, thank you.” She said to him with a small smile. It was the first time they talked to each other, but she knew that he was pretty much like her sister and outspoken. “Indeed.” She said with a soft laugh as he even offered their musicians. He definitely was like Jerry and Lidnsey.
She then considered him listening to their song and shrugged. “I don’t mind.” It was true that he couldn’t steal anything and she didn’t think he was that kind of person. Her sister would be more protective than she was but she wasn’t around. She smiled a bit at him as he suggested a collab. “I’d like it, but I won’t have much time for live performances yet.” She said since her legs were still holding her back. She wouldn’t mind offering her voice to his album. It could be fun and she’d like the band to join in too.

Dominic grinned at both of them. He was a bit taken aback when she seemed so shy and reserved. He wouldn’t have expected that knowing what she could do on a stage. He was just glad that she didn’t seem to have given up on her dreams and kept singing.
He was also happy he could hear them. He liked their genre and did think that if they did a comeback when Eleanor would be in a better condition, he’d like to perform with them. “Third on the left.” He said to Jerry when he questioned him. “You can either drag the instruments there or use my room.” He told them before smiling at Eleanor as she agreed with a collab.
“Sweet, and it’s all good.” He reassured her. He wouldn’t push her for a performance. He was willing to wait until she was feeling better to do so, if she ever wanted to.
