Zach did not take the time to realise how inspired Dom was. It was not something he understood too well, as he was not an artist himself. Knowing Dom however, he figured that whoever could inspire him would no doubt end up being an obsession, if only for a time, and that he would need to satisfy this obsession by sleeping with them. Wouldn't be the first time Dom just ended up sleeping with someone because he just felt the urge to. He was not yet ready for commitement and quite frankly Zach didn't care. As long as it did nnot become a PR nightmare, he could have all the flirts he wanted. He believed his friend was not stupid to the point of sleeping with someone already engaged to another person or would be discreet if he did.
Dom claimed he had no desire to sleep with Ellie, saying Lindsey would be on his case otherwise. Good thing he was not already asking him to do something about that. Why people assumed he could get her to do his bidding? Or that he wanted her to in the first place? "Never heard you use that kind of excuse before." He shrugged. He personally didn't mind what would stop him from sleeping but saying he wouldn't only because of Lindsey did make it sound like he wouldn't be against it otherwise. "I'm just saying, be careful if that ever happen."
Zach chose to ignore Dom's last comment about Lindsey. Testing it out? What exactly did he have in mind? He preferred not to think about it. "I'm not going to manipulate her for your pleasure."

Dom smirked a bit at Zach’s comment but it was the truth. Sure, she was cute and good looking but he didn’t want to put her in his bed. He felt like if he did, he’d scare her away and on top of that, he’d break her. She wasn’t wild like himself or even Lindsey and it amazed him in a way to see that these two were sisters and yet, she seemed so at ease around people with his type of personality.
“I will, I will.” He didn’t want to argue to Zach though, it probably only was a phase that would go away. People sometimes left impressions on others and Ellie just did that to him and she happened to leave one that would inspire him. That was all for now. It’s not like he wanted to put in bed everyone he was inspired by, sure, he did that with a lot of people but again, he didn’t think he would do that with Ellie.
“I’m not talking about manipulation but I could call her and see if she’d go on a date with you.” He said, pulling out his phone to show to Zach that he was serious about what he said.

Zach was lucky that no matter who Dom chose to sleep with, it didn't cause too much of a scandal. Not to add that he was the kind to assume this stuff. Sure, it could cause more problem to him but at least he didn't have anything to conceal. What Zach feared the most however was not some rumours stating that Dom was dating Eleanor, he never really cared for that, it was what it could cause in studios, with people who worked with them, with the ones who hire artists for their venues... in other words, the stuff Dom didn't think about when doing, well, everything he did. Dom could give him more of a headache on the matter but it was not that bad.
He gave him headaches in other domains. He heard Dom but he knew the guy said that only to shut him up. In the end, he would do whatever he wanted to do. Zach was certain he would end up sleeping with her. After all, that was not really his business. It was not like he would have to manage Eleanor's career as well. If he did, he'd be more insisting. He didn't want two of his clients fighting each other if things turned sour.
He stared at Dom after sighing heavily. "I don't need your help to go on dates, Dom." Why did everyone talk of Lindsey to her and implied he should do her? Okay, Dom was being more civil and said date but he knew what he meant by that. "And I thought you wanted to talk about your new album. Unless you planned on having her sing with you. If so you better hurry, she happened to have told me she planned to st for a while."

Dom was with Zach no matter what; they had been friends since forever and even if they were so different in terms of personality he would support his friend with his decisions. However, there were times like these where he wondered how Zach did to stay sane despite the fact that he didn’t catch any girl, or guy in his bed since…forever. He didn’t remember last time it happened…if it ever happened. Zach never really told him about his personal life and he didn’t much either. He did tell him sometimes that he had slept with that said person but it was the most he would say.
He was clearly amused when Zach didn’t want to go on a date with Lindsey. “Oh, really?” He asked him back. He did think that Zach indeed needed dates, because he needed to get laid or else, he’d become a boring old man and he didn’t want his friend to have that faith.
He was a bit surprised to know that she wanted to step back. “She does? I didn’t know that, I did think about asking Lindsey but if she doesn’t want to, I won’t push her.” He said. He didn’t push people to take part of his album, but highly suggested they should have a song together. He needed Ellie in his album, that one was for sure. “Are you going to be able to sing me up with at least one of these guys?” He asked referring to the suggestions he had for Zach.

Zach valued a lot more his private life. He didn't share the details of his life on social media, he didn't brag about who he brought to his bed with his friends. He also didn't need that kind of interaction as much as Dom. He didn't require as much social interactions and definitely not as much attention. If he was in a steady relationship, Dom would end up knowing because he would see them together, but Zach preferred to keep that sort of thing to himself. And he was not the kind to kiss and tell.
He stared once again at his friend. "I can get dates on my own," he assured him. Why was Lindsey so taken by him, if she really was? He figured she'd want a strong personality, like Dom. Everyone paled when compared to that guy. Not that Zach wanted to compete. If he did, he would make sure to add domains where he knew he beat him hands down.
He shrugged. Would she really be against a collaboration with Dom? He couldn't say. She did look tired of the industry, but he couldn't say if she was also tired of singing thanks to that. "I think she mostly has something against her current agent and her image, but she really wants a break." It was a major scoop that he had here but he didn't think it was his place to spread it. He hoped Dom understood that. It would only put her in trouble with her agent and might cost her her career if they shared that with the media. "She wants to be a stylst for now." he added as he took a sip.
He preferred to go back to business. "I will try for sure, he promised him. Dom was his best client, he would do everything to make his career work.

Dominic was aware that Zach was a rather private person, even more private than he could imagine though, considering the years they knew each other he thought that he should at least tell him if he was involved with someone right? Even more when that someone was Lindsey Bates! Unlike his friend though, Dom had a feeling that someone like her would do good to him. He didn’t need to be serious all the times and hoped that someone would eventually let his walls down. How could being serious all the time make you enjoy life? He truly wondered. They were that much different but he still was thankful that his friend had followed him and made his dream to become a star come true. Look at where he was now!
“Yeah right, when was the last time you dated?” He asked rather skeptically. He couldn’t help it. It wasn’t like he was making fun of Zach, he just worried a little that he might end up being an old man regretting not living his life to the fullest. He even didn’t drink that much when they were out and supposed to have fun! He’d have to fix that…
He nodded, aware that this might be something very private for the girl so for this, he’d keep his mouth shut. “She does seem creative.” He agreed with her choice even if he thought that it was sad not wanting to fight against the medias because they were the ones who stalked your life and ruined them. Though, he figured that she might want to try one last time before taking a break, no?

It might be hard to see how two people so different managed to be so close over the years but the fact emained that Dom was his best friend. He didn't know if it was exactly how Dominic would refer to him, but he certainly was amongst the oldest, truest friends of his. Zach thought their personality balanced well. There was also the fact that he was content staying in the background. He had more pleasure being the one pulling the strings from behind than to be in front of the cameras, like Dominic loved so much. That too was why they worked out so well. While you could argue that Lindsey could be like Dominic and what was true for a friendship could be true for a romantice relationship, Zach was not so sure.
He sighed, not wanting to answer his friend. It was true that he didn't date nearly as much as his friend, if he could call those dates. He considered Dominic was more into casual hookups. "I've not been nearly as alone as you think," he pointed out. He might not have been as vocal as Dom was with his 'conquests' but Zach had a few dates in the past. In a way, he too didn't see the point in getting serious with someoen at the moment.
Zach nodded, but more as an automatism. He was thinking the same as his friend about her right now, she shouldn't give up all she worked hard to get and wanted just because of that. A change of image was not so hard to do, if only her agent would get that and help in that sense. But he supposed he liked too much to portray her in that way, not caring how different this may be from who she truly was. He nodded again, lost in thoughts, as he drank slowly.

Dominic couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at his friend but didn’t say anything. They often argued about it in the past and he never managed to get Zach out of his shell. When he was done with his drink, he raised a hand at the bar tender and asked him for another two drinks. He wanted Zach not to be so stuck up all the time and figured that a bit of alcohol would help his friend to loosen up a little. It was true that he was more of a party animal than Zach was but it didn’t mean he wanted his friend to live a boring life forever without meeting anyone that might be there for him. He was aware that Zach wasn’t the kind to go with a lot of one nights, but he wished at least for his friend to become steady with someone that would make him relax and not be serious all the time. He’d have to think of various candidates for his friend but for now, he wanted to have a good time now that they had finished talking business, he wanted to enjoy himself.
“Well, we’ll still have to change that.” He said once they had their drinks in hand and he lifted his to cheer him up before taking a sip. He wanted to enjoy himself too which was why he had asked Zach to come and meet him in the club. It wasn’t only to talk business, of course! He wanted to enjoy a bit of time there with people and just drink and dance, as he often did. People often wondered if he ever stopped and relax and they were right to do so because he rarely did. If he found the right person maybe, but he didn’t consider himself ready to settle down, far from that.

Zach wanted to argue when Dominic ordered more drinks. He wanted to talk business and despite knowing it was just how Dominic operated. He needed to have some fun before being serious and Zach had to indulge him, just like he sometimes had to do with other clients. He was more likely to do it with Dominic though, considering how close they were and so he merely frowned and was about to say no only to sigh and accept the drink.
"You realise how ironic it is that you try to match me? You're just as bad as I am at steady relationships?" The big difference between them was that his life was not plastered everywhere on social media. Because of that, Dominic looked like he had a new lover every week while no one knew who he dated. He liked it that way, but apparently he needed to reassure Dominic that he was not too alone.
"Can we go back to business, before we get interrupted again by my lack of relationships or a fan wanting a selfie with you." As he said that, he eyed towards two women who had been eyeing in their direction. He couldn't help think they did because they recognized Dom and not because they liked the two guys sitting not too far from them.

Dominic gave a look at Zach when he tried to argue about having another drink. No arguments could be held against him when he wanted to enjoy himself. Besides, Zach should know better since he was his best friend. He, on the other hand, didn’t find it as ironic as he did. “I wouldn’t say anything if you did find conquests.” He noted, reminding him that Zach was the one who lacked of relationships. “Work isn’t the only part of your life.” He added as he knew what would come next and he guessed right considering his words as he said that he wanted to get back to work.
He glanced at the two women as he followed Zach’s gaze and shrugged sheepishly. Why would he say no to two pretty ladies? He did have a thought for Ellie Bates but since he didn’t see her more than that he wasn’t against spending time with other women in the process. “I think we covered what we needed to talk about.” He said, not knowing what else he could want to talk about.

One could wonder why Dominic picked Zach if he wanted to party tonight. He ought to know this was not something Zach did. To him, a party was more an event with some music in the background where he can meet all the big guns in the entertainment industry and other people who could help him promote his artists. He was born with a golden spoon in his mouth and saw no reason to hide or be ashamed of it. Others might find him a bit young but he was confident and knew the business part of this industry well enough to do a good job.
“I might not need someone in my bed as much as you but I have no problem in that field, thank you very much,” he assured Dominic. Who was the worst in terms of short-term relationships? He would still say Dominic, because he was certain the guy had more partners than he did, but he certainly was no better when it came to serious relationships. Then again, they were not even thirty. Maybe they could have a bit of a break before looking for a life-long partner? And he didn’t think about what Lindsey would say of all this.
“Maybe not, but when the ones you work for can be sought twenty-four, seven, when they can call you at all times because they want you to play their shrink or their wingman, and when they don’t want to take the business part of the job serious, you end up with work being the biggest part of your life,” he pointed out. Was it directed at Dominic? A little, but Dominic knew him enough to know this was not said in a mean way. Zach loved this business aspect, he was born for it. It truly was not the part that bothered him.
Dominic was certain they said everything they had to say already. “You’ve written the songs already? You think you could maybe get a demo or something, so I can sell it to them?” Dominic might have said he wrote a few stuff, and gave him a few names, but he had to make sure it would happen. Just because one musician was excited to work with him didn’t mean it could happen, and having the song would help. He didn’t want to think if they signed up and once in the recording studio, they hated the song. “I guess you can now go to them and introduce yourself. Like they don’t already know,” he told him with an playful smile as he teased him.

Dominic was stubborn, he wanted Zach to let loose a few times and he had yet succeeded at doing so. It was a wonder to him as to how his friend could have fun despite the many years they knew each other. They had done talking business and he didn’t feel like going in details now that he had told his friend about his upcoming plan. An album with various collaborations was thrilling him; he would get to know other artists and it would help with the sales and let people who were fans with the other artists to get to know him better as well. Not that he thought he was unpopular, it was a good boost. “I didn’t say that you needed someone in your bed.” He noted. “Even if you do need one.” He added smirking. He couldn’t help it; he was easy to mess up with. Zach never talked much to him about relationships so he didn’t know where his friend stood.
Dominic rolled his eyes, taking sips of his drink in the process. “Yeah, well, the business talk is over we can do something else for once.” Apparently, Zach wasn’t done with him and it had him to let out a bit of a groan. Talking to the ladies over there was becoming tempting. “Some of them but I want to know about the artists’ opinions first.” They were going to sing it together so he wanted them to have their input as well.
“I’d be outraged if they don’t.” he said to his friend but then he looked back at him. “If I do that, I won’t know if you finally let loose or not.” He added, determined to get his friend to party a little.

An album of collaborations might sound like a great idea and Dominique may be thrilled by this but Zach saw it in terms of cost and profit. Dom was popular, he could back it up without them losing too much in the process, despite the fact that if he wanted to sig those on stage they would have to hire a random singer and not get the album version. It was all his mind could really think about right now, wanting to balance numbers in order to make it happen, or even to make sure it was doable. But Dom kept trying to pull him out of this and he was unnerved by it.
"You don't need to worry about my bed," Zach retorted. Maybe he should be telling his friend more about his love life but he was not feeling like it. He kept his private life private. Anyway, he was not the one people wanted to know the personal life of.
He looked at Dom as he said that the business part of the conversation was over. "For you maybe but for me it's just starting," he pointed out. He was the one who would have to talk to the other managers and artists to make it all happen, and to producers to make sure they would agree to spend money on that idea. Dom better deliver if he manages to make it happen.
He chuckled, shaking his head. Yeah, he bet there were a bunch of people who must have recognized him, or at least thought he looked a lot like someone known. "You're improving, for a second I feared you were about to bring them over and choose one for me."

Dominic thought that Zach was always too rational for his taste. Sometimes, it was even a wonder to how the ended up being friends but Zach always backed him up and he was the one who had helped to make his dream come true. Look where he was now! Wasn’t he in the hall of fame? He trusted Zach with his career but when it came to love, his friend was a big zero at it. He always wondered either or not he would hook up with someone or not because he was too stuck up. He’d have to get the broom out of his ass and it was an occupation he enjoyed doing since a lot of people he knew needed his help to get that done.
“You’re always so boring Zach, you need a light somewhere.” Besides, they all knew that Lindsey had the hoots for him. Why didn’t he act upon it? She was a pretty lady, he wasn’t blind but apparently, Zach was unless he had his nose too often in his books, which was a shame because he didn’t like seeing his friends lonely.
He grinned and patted his friend on the shoulder. “I know you can do it, otherwise, I wouldn’t be this famous.” He said, extending his arms as he did so just to prove his point. Wasn’t he gorgeous and famous now?
“I might do that if you don’t make a move on Lindsey, or tell me that you have a girlfriend and you’ve been dating for months.”

Zach found t extermely ironic that Dom would want to give him tricks regarding love. Oh, he didn't doubt that his friend had more dates than he did, but he wouldn't believe that Dominic was better than he was when it came to serious relationships. He thought he was better placed here, hence why he warned him to be careful with Ellie. He knew how it usually turned out, when Dom started to say that someone was cool or whatever other compliment he could come up with. He was not interested in havving to deal with his bed stories more than necessary, something that was bound to happen whenever Dom chose to sleep with someone he had to work with, especially after he dumped them.
"Just because I don't party all day long, doesn't mean I'm boring." Wasn't he able to attract women like Lindsey? Then again, he was ready to admit he was boring, at least too much, for someone like her. She needed someone with a personality as strong as hers, one who would love to be seen at her side at all chance. He was more one to stay behind, even if he knew how to handle the spotlight when need be. Just not the kind they were used to.
He chuckled as Dom was his usual self. He preferred not to add anything about it. Dom was alwyas this enthusiastic. He stared at him though at what he said next. "So that's what you intend to do, blackmail me? I either ask her out or try to entertain one of your fan?" Did Dom know how much he disliked doing that, being this sort of third wheel or lame second choice for the woman's second choice? Probably, which would explain why he said this. Zach sighed heavily at this.
