Two months, that still left plenty of time, no? Maybe not. He supposed it depended on how difficult the choreography was and how much time she could practice. She must have a partner too, right? It was just a partner, not a group. He was pretty sure it was one partner. Mentioning her competition was enough to get her talking. He had a brief nod. He could understand practicing like crazy. As a teenager, he did it, constantly. Dancing, acrobatics, some parkour movements too, he did it all, as often as he could, not caring for the wounds he got in return. He learned with every fall, and it was a lot better than many of the foster families he lived with. He had no regret, even when looking at his fingers and feet whose bones had been crushed and misaligned over the years. He blinked. He suggested for her to take a break? Ah yeah, the studio. She must see it as a break from her practice. "No problem," he replied. This place was a break for him too, in a way. He got some inspiration too, but he was not sure how much she would get of that. They didn't exactly had the same style. They eventually reached the right stop and he walked out of the bus, looking briefly behind himself to make sure Megan was still following him, like last time. Her dance routine was pretty much set but she was a perfectionist and they had to be at the top of their shapes when the competition would come. She wanted to know the movements by heart and to feel these. It wasn’t hard to learn a choreography but she wanted to perfect every little detail and yet be spontaneous at the same time in hope to impress the judges and to start having a name for herself instead of being in her sister’s shadow.
She smiled at him, happy that she could see these people again. She wondered what they were up to and if they were willing to show her moves. She could give them quick Latin dance classes as well if they wanted. All the possibilities! They knew what she could do and had accepted her in their group the other day, surely, they would remember of her right?
Meg followed him when they made it to the bus stop and hopped out of it, ready to go back to his spot. She was going to remember the way there so she could pay them a visit once in a while.

You could argue that Hiro was a professional dancer. He did make a living by dancing, sort of. He took it seriously too. He practiced, tried new movements, learn the steps. Still, a lot of it was improvised, or more like modified to fit whatever beat he could get. He had no idea how to dance on her music. He didn't know her technique. He respected that she was a pro dancer as well, in her own field but seeing how he couldn't make a living by simply dancing, he was unable to see this activity as nother much more than a hobby, a passion. She had the passion too, that was another thing he could accept. He didn't know of her sister, he couldn't even remember that she said the studio she practiced in was hers. She may be the only one in the family or just one of many, he didn't care. He could say the same about himself anyway, being the only one because he knew no one else of his actual family but also one of many judging the people in his 'studio' as his family. He knew they preferred hiphop, not Latin dances. Some tried like him to add acrobatics or parkour moves. His mind was good enough with numbers to know how to do those moves. He never really thought about mixing his style with hers before. He didn't either as he brought her. He was walking in front of her, not turning back to see how she was acting now that they were getting closer. The music got louder as they approached. There were some kids too, having a break from school and either done eating or not having eaten yet. They recognized him of course, but he let them see whether they recognized her or not. She was clashing a little with her white skin and blonde hair but not all of them had seen her last time. He knew he would get some attention from them, so he turned around to look at Meg and include her. MADE BY ★MEULK

Meg enjoyed places like the one that Hiro had shown her. His studio was fun and not full of pressure; it was like a hobby to her so to speak considering that dance was her job. She was living for competition and teaching Latin dance lessons on the side. Still, simply moving along with the beat was nice and when they got to know you better then it was like having new dance partners. She wasn’t one who had worked with a lot since social dancing was with one only but she did enjoy group dancing once in a while, it tended not to have as much of rules as there were when you were competing.
They approached his studio and she smiled hearing the music. She didn’t care either she was clashing with the others as long as they respected her too. They all had the same passion and they had accepted her when they saw that she could bust a few moves. She also liked learning what they were trying to show her.
She was aware that some turned their heads when she made her way with Hiro and waved a bit at the few she recognized from last time but there were others who still gave her cautious expression. She couldn’t exactly blame them for that but someone needed to break the ice no? She didn’t hesitate when she recognized the tune that was playing and simply jumped in to dance, where was the fun if she didn’t?

Hiro wasn't sure he got Megan. He was feeling good in that back alley because it was his home. No, in the end, he thought he got her. He believed she was like those tourists who visited a country's people like they were part of a show for them or something. It was an amusement for her. What else can it be, when she had a real studio to dance in and could even do this on a professional level, something many of them here could never wish to dream of. Hiro was the closest to living off of dancing, and he still had to do several jobs in order to live. He was not just what to make of this, if he liked it or not, but he still let her come with him. He was not the only one staring at her as they arrived. It was not her style after all, she told him herself. Everyone hesitated a little at first when she decided to jump in. They moved aside and looked at her. He too wondered what she felt when coming here, if they were just a curiosity for her, if she didn't think she was more of a dancer for knowing the steps and how to call them. Some of them eventually joined back in while others preferred to sit this one out. Hiro stayed behind for a moment, looking at her. Like the last time, he noted the difference in her style, the fluidity of her movements. No one around here danced quite like that, not even those who loved social dances and he didn't watch enough television and movies to know about that style. He did not jump in, even if the thought came to his mind that it would look better with a partner. He didn't know how to dance that. Instead, he tilted his head and looked at what she was doing on that tune. MADE BY ★MEULK

Meg was aware that she as some sort of curiosity to the group of people she had previously been introduced to but she enjoyed being with them because when they accepted her, they didn’t judge her because she knew the steps but they ended up enjoying dancing together. Someone needed to break the ice and she understood it but she didn’t mind. She always had to prove herself to people mostly because people always shadowed her because of her sister. That didn’t mean she didn’t love her though, she was close to Skye it was just that she wished, sometimes that people would consider her as Meg and not just Skye’s sister.
She smiled when people joined her and even danced with a few of them. Where was the fun if you couldn’t do that? People here might think she was a spoiled rich brat but she wasn’t and they had worked hard to get where they were. Even if she clashed because of her skin color she thought that it was moments like these that united people together. She did wonder about what they thought of her but never dared to ask them yet. Why would she? It’s not like she knew everyone on a personal basis.

Hiro stayed in the background as Megan danced. He rarely danced with partners, unless you counted when a group did similar moves together. He only danced in groups here, and it was rare. When he showed his moves for money, he was usually alone. Megan, however, was used to dancing with a partner. And her movements... they were different from a lot of what they were doing here. Hiro used gymnastics a lot in his choreographies, and break dance. It was not as fluid as what she was doing. He was able to do something that resembled moonwalk but he never tried what she was doing now. Even when someone from the group wanted to dance something with him, it was not like that. He was still able to appreciate it though, despite not joining in. He waited until the music was over and something else, a little more in his style, played. He didn’t jump in. Instead, he moved towards Megan. “What are those moves you’re doing?” he asked. But he was told to dance a little, since they knew it was more his style. He looked at Megan. He just asked her a question and could wait for her to answer, or he could dance too. Figuring that she wouldn’t just run away, he moved away from her to show some of his skills too. MADE BY ★MEULK

Meghan didn’t mind if her moves were different or if she looked different, as long as they accepted her the way she was and didn’t judge her as she wasn’t judging her she was fine with it. She was aware that the people there didn’t have an easy life like hers, not that she thought that hers was easy either but it wasn’t the same. She was more comfortable financially than they were. Part of her hoped that they didn’t judge her for the money she had but for her skills.
She smiled at Hiro when he joined her and questioned her. “I’m working on my own style. I enjoy social dancing but I enjoy doing solos too I thought I’d try to mix those up. Want to try?” She asked him as she spun around herself showing him a fluid move that she was used to doing when she was dancing with someone. “The thing is when you’re dancing Latin dances, the girl is what you want to expose, it’s why we wear those flashy dresses usually in competitions but I always liked finding my own style.” Maybe it was because she wanted to be told apart from her sister but she rarely complained aloud about that. It’s not like they knew about her. “I also like to add acrobatics in it.” She added, aware that she could be very flexible.

Hiro danced as the others wanted him too. He liked adding acrobatics to his dances. He was actually very good at those. He learned them when he was young, some sort of way to be different and deal with the fact he was usually alone. It was the same for dancing. He broke his share of bones, hurt himself many times, but he never stopped. If he didn't have that for himself, he had nothing. He was a quiet, closed up guy who never complained about doing boring, menial jobs because he had no ambition for something better. He was almost illiterate too! He dropped out high school as soon as he got a chance. The dance over, he returned to Megan's side to hear her answer. He understood how one would like to work their own style. They all did that around here, since no one really learned the exact steps and the types of dances. But that was not her case, so it was funny that she did like them. "I don't know about social dancing," he admitted. He was not ashamed of it, he was merely stating a fact. He watched as she spun around herself. She then explained a bit more about what she was doing. Latin dances? He thought she was doing social dances. Unless it was the same. He didn't know the exact name of those dances so it was hard for him to tell. "I thought the important part was the moves," he pointed out as she talked of the costumes the women had to wear. Why did everyone have to be super sexy and flashy all the time? He didn't get it. MADE BY ★MEULK

Megan was willing to believe that Hiro didn’t know a lot about social dancing and their styles were obviously different but she didn’t care. She smiled at this and nodded. She was aware that dancing their style was different and social dances had a lot, just as Latin dances. She enjoyed both styles and was able to work her way through that. But you had to constantly work out and set your skills. “Not a lot of people do. The moves are important but they’re there to show off your partner, men have to stand firm and lead the woman in a way that shows her to the world, like a person who is proud to show their partner.” She couldn’t explain this any different than that.
She held her hands out for him to take them if he wanted to try. “Want to try some moves?” She asked him with a smile. She was willing to teach him a few tricks, nothing too hard. It’s not like he would learn in five minutes how to social or Latin dance.

Hiro didn't get that. Oh, sure, he knew that a lot of the dance was about showing off. You wanted to show your skills, you wanted to shine and get people's attention. The look may have something to do with it and your attitude as you danced, but the technique was the most important. Okay, said from someone who had no technique, it was ironic. But she was a professional dancer, you'd think she had the technique and was judged on that and not how revealing her clothes were. Then she explained how they had to dance, the attitude required. Another reason for him not to dance with a partner! "That's a strange image to give to people." It was incredibly macho, the way she said it. She might have said a person proud of their partner but it might as well be a man proud of his possession. He was not like that. He looked at her, wondering what she was doing as she extended her hands towards him. He blinked a moment after her proposal. "I don't dance with others a lot," he admitted. And he didn't think he had the proper attitude if he was supposed to flash her around. But he was a little curious about her moves. MADE BY ★MEULK

Meg didn’t mind it much because she enjoyed that style of dancing. It was sexy but not dirty, there was a difference between what was shown in competition and on television. Also, when they danced with famous people they tended to add more sex appeal than it was necessary. She still enjoyed those styles and it helped her to get her own too since people usually tended to stick with rules but also dared to show different styles mixed with it.
She smiled slightly when he admitted that he didn’t dance with others a lot. “There’s always a time to learn.” She said, still holding her hands up, determined to get him to dance. What was the arm? Even if he was a stranger to her but not completely, at least she knew more about him and knew that he could dance. All he needed to know was the moves.

hiro never performed in front of a camera or during a competition. Competition required money for signing in, and he saved his money for more important things like food and lodging. As for television, he neve tried it. He didn't think they'd want him, since he had none of the technique. People watching him might have taken a video of his skill but he never did that himself. He didn't even know if he wanted it. Probably, a little, deep inside, but he was also content with what he had. Megan decided that he could learn right now. She was not forcing him, instead she simply showed her hands to him. It was his decision to follow her or not, she didn't want to push him, even if he might enjoy it. Hiro was the kind to normally be pushed. He was used to people doing that because they thought he was too much of a loner otherwise. But this time, he was the one taking her hands to take her on her offer. He didn't know what would come out of this but he was ready to try. It was not like she was asking a lot of him, like accompanying her to some random place or do her chores for her. MADE BY ★MEULK

Meg wasn’t sure either or not that Hiro would agree to her offer and had to admit that she was surprised when he took her hands. She showed him how he was supposed to hold her and put one of his hand around her waist and the other on her shoulder. “Like this.” She said before she started moving slowly.”Watch my feet, you usually have to take the lead but I can show you simple steps for now.” She added. After all, she had given dancing classes to many people before and it wasn’t like she was new to that. Showing to Hiro was just like showing how to dance to another student.
She started to move her hips pretending that the music was some sort of Salsa dance, knowing the basic steps by heart. “We have to move in unison and usually to the beat of the music, obviously.” She added with a light laugh. She didn’t care, it was fun and enjoyable to her.

Some heads turned as they saw Hiro take her hands. They were clearly curious. Whether it was to see what he'd do or what their dance would look like, he had no idea but he decided to ignore them. He never danced like she did and expected to be a little awkward at first. He didn't do that kind of move, that sort of fluidity, not to add to have a partner. When he did, he didn't touch them as much as she wanted him to, placing his hands the appropriate way. He was a bit stiff. He got why people stopped dancing to look at them, he never held someone like that. He might have grabbed a partner but he didn't keep his hands on them the way he had to here. She told him to watch her feet and he did so. He made quite a few mistakes, moving towards her when he should go to the side, freezing when he should make a step backward. It was not as good as her. She was taking the lead, telling him he'd normally be the one doing that. He was glad this was not the case, and didn't complain. She was the one who knew how to dance this, not him. She started moving her hips and while his hand on her waist could follow, his body did not move as smoothly, at least not at first. Even at the end, it was still a bit too stiff for what she was doing. He said nothing as she talked. It all made sense and he knew all that, he didn't see the point of even nodding in response, preferring to focus on her footsteps than to answer her. MADE BY ★MEULK
