Meg smiled when he didn’t seem too phased as he took her hands. She could tell that he wasn’t used to this type of dancing and she wouldn’t mind showing him the basics of it. He was a good dancer or at least, had a base in it so there was something she could do about showing him how it worked. She tried not to laugh as they started dancing and showed him the basics. People always tended to be stiff at first when they knew nothing about Latin and social dancing.
She wasn’t bothered by the looks of the people who stared at them as they started dancing. She enjoyed it but Hiro definitely needed to loosen up a little. “You have to feel the beat, you can do that right?” She asked him teasingly as she continued showing him a few moves.
“You’re not a bad student.” She said jokingly. “You should see me with a partner on my level.” She added with a grin. Not that she thought that Hiro sucked at it, but it certainly had more impact when you danced with someone on your level if you wanted to impress other people.

Hiro was not sure what she thought of him. Of his dacing skills, that is. All he knew came from television or watching other people doing it and copying their moves. If he was good at improvising while dancing, he wasn't a choreographer. And with that type of dance, he knew too little to improvise anything. He had to follow her lead. He wasn't sure he was good at it. His movements were a lot more fluid when he was dancing usually, but this time he was a little stiff. He knew this could be excused on the fact that he never danced like that before he didn't know the steps but just knowing that he was usually better than that made him more uncomfortable still. He tried to focus on the steps, his gaze contantly down at their feet. "That's about the only thing I can do," he answered. She should be glad he didn't just say yes, he was good at this kind of short replies. He didn't take offense as she mentioned someone of her level. He didn't think she could do all of the things he did. Besides, envy was counterproducive. Eventually, he let go of her hands. "I think I should stick to my style," he said, more than ready to let others try if they wanted to ask Meg for a lesson in that style too. MADE BY ★MEULK

Meg didn’t think that Hiro was a bad dancer; they had their styles and it was clear of it but it didn’t mean she couldn’t learn from him or that he couldn’t learn from her too. Latin dancing was about showing off your curves and wowing the people at least on her part but she was okay with that. She also enjoyed it when they were doing acrobatics along with her partner and had a feeling that it would be something that Hiro would be better at instead of the plain dancing they were doing. “Let loose a little.” She said jokingly to him as she wiggled his arms to let him to relax a bit.
She laughed at his words, though, was clearly not making fun of him. “You’re improving.” She added teasingly as she smiled. The song was done and she let go of him. “Depends, you’d be surprised how styles could merge together.” She said. It was true that he didn’t know she could get into acrobatics. She saw that other people wanted to try and smiled at him, gladly offering free Salsa classes if they liked. It was fun.

Hiro knew he needed to loosen up. It was pretty obvious but one of those things easier said than done. He was not used to that sort of movement and he felt like it didn’t work with him, making him unable to really perform it well. Had they done some acrobatics, this being far more in his alley, maybe he would have, but for now, he just tried not to mess the footsteps. He got there was a rhythm and order to it but it took him a moment to fully grasp it and move around in a similar fashion as she did. Anyway, others might be interested in dancing like that too and he preferred to let them have a try at it. Maybe he’ll practice some more of this, try to add some of those moves to his dances, but Hiro, despite loving to be here with the others, was more of a loner, even when it came to practicing his moves. Seeing how he didn’t get them very well, he wanted to be alone to practice all the more and not embarrass himself too much as he failed to do the simple moves and rolls of the hip. Megan still argued that he was improving. It might be the case but he would have to train a lot more before being confident enough in his skills to use those steps in a choreography. Megan assured him styles could merge and someone pointed out there were a few movies that did just that, including with both their styles. Hiro was ready to believe them, they watched more movies than he did. He sat further in the back to let them dance and watched Megan as she gave them all a free lesson. It would appear she blended in easier than he expected. MADE BY ★MEULK
